Downtown Halifax

GEDC0297
Last weekend we took the opportunity to travel to Halifax to visit the capital of Nova Scotia. We enjoyed walking along Barrington Street and going into a couple little shops along the way. I then decided that no trip to Halifax would be complete without a trip to the Halifax Citadel. Over the next few months it is my goal to get Liam at least acquainted with the history of this wonderful province so we will be making several visit to National Hisoric Sites in the coming months. To the left you can see the Old Town Clock situated at the base of the Citadel. It has been an important landmark in Halifax for over two hundred years now. I've also included some pictures of Halifax Habour from the summit. Beautiful, isn't it?
